Hello,

My name is Narae Bernabe, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I began my clinical work in 2013, supporting children, parents, and adults, and earned my LMFT license in 2016. Since then, I have had the privilege of working with individuals and families from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, and supporting parents through the challenges of raising children. I help clients navigate life’s stressors, develop healthy coping skills, and strengthen their connection both within themselves and in their relationships with others

Education & Background

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from University of California, Berkeley and my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from University of Southern California. Prior to graduate school, I worked as a behavioral therapist with children and as a teacher’s aide in an early childhood education center. These roles helped build my understanding of child development, family dynamics, and the impact of early support.

I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), supporting children and adolescents who have experienced trauma; Triple P (Positive Parenting Program), helping parents build practical and nurturing strategies; and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which I incorporate in my work with adults.

My professional experience includes community mental health settings serving underserved populations, as well as inpatient behavioral health care for adults in a hospital setting. These experiences allow me to provide compassionate and tailored care for clients across the lifespan.

MY APPROACH

I take a warm and individualized approach to therapy, meeting each client where they are. I focus on building self-awareness, strengthening coping skills, and creating supportive environments that encourage growth and healing. Whether addressing trauma, parenting challenges, or personal mental health concerns, my goal is to empower clients to navigate life’s difficulties with greater confidence and resilience. I look forward to walking alongside you or your family as you move toward meaningful change and lasting well-being.
