Hello,
My name is Noemi and I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I work with individuals who have experienced trauma, navigating major life transitions, and couples who feel stuck in the same patterns or conversations.
I feel called to help clients presenting with trauma, anxiety, depression, identity concerns, and relational stress. Many of the clients come in feeling frustrated, overwhelmed, or unsure why the same issues keep showing up. I enjoy helping clients slow things down, identify patterns, and gently access the deeper emotions underneath what they are experiencing.
I take a trauma-informed approach and often integrate grounding, mindfulness, and somatic tools to help clients feel safer and more connected to themselves. I am especially drawn to working with clients who feel like life feels chaotic or a lot is changing all at once.

EDUCATION & TRAINING
I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family
Therapy from Pepperdine University. My training includes trauma-informed care, DBT-informed
skills, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for individuals and couples, and Gottman Level
1 training.
In addition, I am a 200-hour certified Yoga Teacher, which strongly informs my use of
mindfulness, breathwork, and body-based awareness in therapy. I also incorporate behavioral
activation, including movement-based practices such as walking or running, when clinically
appropriate, to support regulation, motivation, and reconnection with the body.
MY APPROACH
My approach is reflective, insight-oriented, and highly relational. Clients often describe feeling
understood, supported, and gently challenged in our work together. I believe therapy should feel
safe but also engaging, and I value creating a space where clients can bring their full selves into
session. While I move at a client-led pace, I may gently push when it feels supportive and
clinically appropriate.
I am especially passionate about trauma work, helping clients feel safer within themselves, and
supporting couples who are willing to do the work together. I also care deeply about supporting
women and enjoy celebrating progress and wins along the way. My goal is for clients to leave
therapy feeling more grounded, empowered, and hopeful.
