Hello,

My name is Tania Gonzalez and I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I have experience working with individuals dealing with different life stressors. I’m very passionate about empowering clients to be their authentic selves and live a meaningful and happy life.

Through my experiences and cultural background I was able to pursue my passion in the Mental Health field. Being bilingual, and having been born and raised in a Latin culture helps me assist and connect with diverse clients from different cultural backgrounds struggling with the stigma around Mental Health. I strive to provide a safe, genuine and open environment to help my clients reach their goals and improve their lives.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

I graduated from CSUN in 2014 with my bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Then, I completed my master’s degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy at University of Massachusetts Global, former Brandman University in 2021. Throughout my graduate program and after, I had the opportunity to work in community mental health and non-profit organizations providing care to diverse populations and families from different cultural backgrounds. I have assisted clients struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, cultural issues, relationships, self-esteem, and more.

MY APPROACH

I’m a firm believer that everyone has the potential and tools to be their authentic self and live a meaningful life. Together, I work with my clients by helping them reach their goals, heal, grow and improve their lives. I use different treatment models and intuition to assist my clients.
