Hello,
Hi there! My name is Soleil Slater and I am an Associate Clinical Social Worker. I have years of experience working with and guiding toddlers, children, teens, and young adults through different life stressors. I have specialized training in working with ages 0-5 and their caregivers with a variety of diagnoses as well. I strive to provide trauma informed and culturally competent care to all of my clients and families every session.
Soleil Slater, ASW #95752
My own mental health journey and life experiences grew my passion for serving people from all communities. I know reaching out for help and support can be difficult, but I am here to advocate for and walk alongside my clients in their mental health journey, as well as help create a safe space for processing emotions and self-expression.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
I graduated with my Master of Social Work from California State University, Northridge in 2020 and have been working in community mental health since then. I have worked with a variety of diagnoses including anxiety, depression, PTSD and trauma, ADHD, adjustment disorders, attachment disorders, family conflicts, and more.
APPROACH
My therapeutic approach uses a variety of different theories and evidence based practices. I do not approach therapy as a "one size fits all" treatment, as goals and experiences are unique to each client.
